Billing
Wontopos bills monthly on the 1st of each month for the previous month’s usage.
Billing cycle
- Bills are generated on the 1st of each month
- Covers usage from the previous calendar month
- Payment is due within 7 days of invoice generation
- Base plan fee is charged at the start of each cycle
Pro-rated charges
When upgrading mid-cycle, the Pro plan fee is pro-rated for the remaining days in the month.
Payment methods

Invoices
Invoices are available at Settings > Billing > Invoices. Each invoice itemizes:
- Base plan fee
- Overage charges (requests beyond daily limit)
- Marketplace commissions (for sellers)
- Applicable taxes

Upgrading
- Takes effect immediately
- Pro-rated charge for the remainder of the current billing period
- Rate limits increase instantly
Downgrading
- Takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle
- Current plan features remain active until the cycle ends
- API subscriptions beyond the Free limit are paused (not deleted)
Failed payments
Failed payments are retried 3 times over 7 days. After the final failure, the account is downgraded to the Free plan.
